We were so happy to spend a few more days with Aunt Stacey and her boys when they came to town. It's always hard to get the kids together with different school schedules for everyone so we enjoy every minute. We introduced Reid to the wonderful world of Chuck E Cheese! I thought my boys would want to show him some games but they went and blew all their tokens in about 4 minutes to get tickets for the little prizes.
Carter was totally engrossed in all the noises and lights...he might have had the most fun of everyone! Until it was time to leave and he didn't get any cotton candy :)
Going places with four boys is interesting. Definitely makes me happy to be the mother of two! These guys were having a blast in the middle of HEB.
We went to the splash pad for the first time this summer and the kids loved it, as usual.
This little doll was such a good sport going along with all the big boys out in the heat!
A mother's favorite sight!
Casey was so interested in this little creature! She'd never met a baby and kept sniffing him, but got scared of the wiggly hands and feet. Carter loved watching her run around because she was eye-level entertainment during tummy time.
We had some fun in the pool together, too, before our time ended all too quickly and they had to get going. It's always hard to say goodbye when we know we aren't going to see each other for a while!
Alex had a blast at the pool with his beach ball.
Back at home we started enjoying the rewards of our caterpillar hunts! I thought Reid would love seeing the butterflies but he was too interested in all the diggers in the game room.
We've had lots of beautiful little friends to play with and release in the yard.
I can't believe the summer has almost come and gone already. I took the kids to the mall recently and found out Ben is too tall for the play area! I never even thought about the day when we'd have to stop using the little playgrounds. But then I found out Alex is tall enough to ride the carousel alone and now I can stand and wave every time he comes around, so I can get used to them growing up a little.
