Sippy Cups

I finally got Ben to drink his milk from a cup tonight. I have half a dozen
different sippie cups that he's tossed aside for one reason or another,
but he finally decided this straw cup was worth the effort. (probably
because he thinks that anything coming through a straw is a milkshake,
but that's beside the point) The good thing is that the straw has a
valve on it so he can't spill milk everywhere. The bad thing is that
Ben already discovered how to yank it out of his mouth fast enough to
send milk flying in all directions. As long as it's a step away from
the bottle I guess I'll take it.




We've had a pretty rough week at home...construction still going on in our
bathroom, one A/C unit out in the living room, kitchen faucet keeps
falling off, and the washing machine keeps stalling mid-cycle and
flooding the porch. Luckily, the utility porch is designed to be washed
down and has a drain in the floor. Even better for Ben, it turned into
a little playground. He didn't waste any time in jumping right into the
soapy mess.
